How to Maintain Customer/Prospect Ledgers
Open your
existing company and go to the welcome page of your existing company.
After
entering in to the welcome page of company go to the option of “Maintain” and
click it by clicking following options are open. Click on “Customer/Prospects”
After
clicking on “Customer/Prospects” this
window open.
In “General”
contact, Customer Type, Address, Telephone numbers Etc are mentioned.
Point 1
Customer ID is very important to maintain customers/prospects.
Point 2
Name of the customer should be mentioned to continue your process.
By clicking
on next tab “Sales Defaults” opens.
Point 3 General ledger Account should be mentioned in sales defaults.
In “Payment
Defaults” if the customer pay amount through card so in this tab all
information is recorded.
By clicking on
forth tab "Custom Fields" List of Second Contact, Reference, Mailing List is displayed.
In the end in Fifth tab
“History” of that customer is recorded.
How to Maintain Customer
Information
We open an existing company and click on
button of “Maintain” the following
options .We go for “Default Information” .
In Default Information we click on “Customers Default”
When we open “customer default” following tab is window In this window “payment Terms”
are defined like Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.), Prepaid , Due in
number of days , Due on days of next month , Due at end of month.
In point 1 net due in Numbers of days are mentioned.
In point 2 Discount in number of days are mentioned.
In point 3 Discount percentage are mentioned.
In point 4 credit limit is mentioned.
In point 5 General Sales account should be defined.
In point 6 Discount General Sales account should be defined.
When you open second tab “Account Aging” in this Age Invoices
by Invoice Date or Due Date are explained.
By clicking on third tab “Custom
Field” and according to your demand list of fields are open.
In tab Fifth “Finance Charges” First point Days overdue up to
rupees can be written. Second point Annual Rate of Interest. Third point
balances above that or limit of customer. Forth point Minimum Finance Charges
and Fifth point Finance Charges General Ledger account can be written.
In Fifth tab “Pay Methods” Payment methods are explained and
you can enter up to 10 methods of
payments.
